Can I play backgammon against the computer?

Yes, at three levels. Easy and Medium make human-like mistakes; Hard plays opening book moves and searches two moves deep with a trained neural network.

How do I play backgammon with a friend online?

Choose Online, create a game, and send your friend the 6-letter code or invite link. You can also be matched with a random player.

Do I need an account to play online?

No. You can play as a guest. Create an account with a username and password if you want to keep your name and rating on any device.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. The game runs in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. On desktop you can also use the keyboard: Space to roll, U to undo, H for a hint.
